PR's Autohaus History

The original founder of PR's Autohaus of Lodi was a Stockton native, Paul Davey, who turned his passion for rebuilding Porche motors into an automotive career soon after graduating from Lincoln High School. At age 20, he opened Layfayette Auto in downtown Stockton.
In 1981 Paul opened PR's Autohaus of Lodi was located on North Main Street. Paul's commitment to excellence and personalized service earned him a loyal customer base that grew steadily an d led to the expansion of the business in 1992.
Paul purchased the property at our current location of 653 East Pine Street and built a state of the art 9500 square foot repair facility. Paul knew it was a huge commitment, but he strongly felt the investment in the community of Lodi was warranted.
Paul's success was recognized by the German based Robert Bosch Company, a World Leader in precision auto parts. Bosch designated PR's Autohaus of Lodi as the first Bosch authorized service center in the San Joaquin Valley.
In 2004 Paul lost his seven year battle to cancer. The shop has remained a family owned business. Paul's wife Lori, and son Ben, are committed to continuing the legacy of quality auto repair and personalized customer service.
